Google Canceled My 2TB Plan After I Activated the AI Free Trial
After activating the free trial version of Google AI, I was disappointed to find that my previously active 2TB Google One subscription (₺499/year) was canceled without my knowledge or consent. It had been clearly stated that I had the right to continue using this subscription at the specified price until November 2025. However, I am now being asked to repurchase the same service at a significantly higher price of ₺2049.99/year. This situation not only damages user trust but also causes serious inconvenience. There was no clear or transparent communication beforehand about the cancellation, nor was I warned that activating the trial would lead to the termination of my existing plan. I believe this process qualifies as consumer deception (a dark pattern).
