Go&Find’s tracking requires the phone being located to have internet access, location services enabled, and to consent through the SMS request; it also says the service cannot locate a phone that is switched off or out of coverage.
If the phone is lost and you cannot access or respond to the SMS on it, Go&Find specifically states that its service is not effective in those circumstances.
For a phone you own, use the device maker’s built-in recovery service instead: Apple Find My for an iPhone or Google Find Hub for Android.
If you regain access to the phone, ensure mobile data/Wi-Fi and location are enabled, then retry the Go&Find request and follow the consent link sent by SMS.
These are key methods that we can offer. If you have more, please share.
