Starread Technology Deducted ₱699 From My GCash Without Authorization

I am filing a complaint regarding unauthorized deductions made from my GCash account by Starread Technology Limited under the merchant name “Starread Techno.” On October 30, 2026, at around 6:13 PM, an amount of ₱699.00 was deducted from my GCash account with transaction reference number 678341767 in favor of Starread Technology Limited. I did not knowingly authorize or approve this transaction and I do not recognize any product, subscription, or service related to this payment. I am concerned that my GCash account was charged by your merchant without my knowledge or consent. I also discovered an earlier ₱1.00 transaction to the same merchant, dated October 23, 2026, with reference number 655301554, which I likewise do not remember authorizing. This earlier charge increases my concern about how my account details have been used. I have already contacted GCash about these transactions and informed them that I do not recognize or authorize any payment to Starread Technology Limited. However, I am now addressing this directly so that you are fully aware of the situation. Through this complaint, I am requesting a full refund of the unauthorized ₱699.00 deduction to my GCash account. I am submitting this request in good faith and I ask that you urgently review my case and return the amount that was taken without my consent. I look forward to your prompt response and a fair resolution to this matter.
