My Complaint To Starread Techno For Deducting 699 Pesos To My Gcash

On October 19, 2026 at around 7:43 a.m., an amount of 699 pesos was deducted from my GCash account for a transaction shown as “Starread Technology Limited” or “Starread Techno.” I have no knowledge of this service and I did not subscribe, consent, or intentionally sign up for any subscription or content related to this company. I only discovered the deduction in my GCash transaction history, where it appears as a completed payment of 699 pesos. I did not receive any clear prior notice, opt‑in request, or explanation about what this service is, and I did not authorize this charge in any way. I request a full refund of the 699 pesos that was taken from my GCash account and the immediate cancellation or blocking of any existing or future subscription or charging related to Starread Techno or Starread Technology Limited through my number and GCash. I also ask for an investigation into how this transaction was processed without my explicit consent.
