I'm a Gate.io user, and I've run into a major issue: my phone malfunctioned, and I had to reset it, causing me to lose my Google Authenticator code because I didn't back it up. Now, whenever I try to log into my account, it asks for the Authenticator code. Despite having access to my email and phone, there's no option to log in using those methods.
For the past week, I've been in constant contact with Gate.io support. I've provided every piece of information they've asked for, repeatedly proving that the account is mine. Yet, every time, they come up with new requirements or excuses to deny my request. This back-and-forth is getting exhausting, and I'm starting to feel like I'm being scammed by the platform.
