Garmin MK1 Watch Battery Issues – No Replacement After 1.5 Years

18

I purchased a Garmin MK1 watch, and after just 1.5 years, the battery died. The first time I went in, they replaced it. However, when I returned for another battery replacement, I was told they no longer offer that service and suggested I buy a new model with a small discount. They provided no other solution, and apparently, none of their models offer battery replacements. Essentially, my watch is now useless. When I expressed concern that the same issue could happen with a new model, they admitted there was nothing more they could do. I’m extremely disappointed that Garmin offers no long-term support for their products. I expect a better solution, not just a discount on another short-lived device.
