Franke Refrigerator Freezer Compressor Failure

When we called the service about the Franke refrigerator, they said it's normal for the side parts to heat up. The fridge is 4 years old. In the end, the bottom freezer stopped working. The service told us that the compressor is broken and gave us a high price for fixing it. They also mentioned different brands of compressors and warned us that if we turn it on, the oil inside will completely spoil within a week. We didn't trust them. We already knew about another service that we trusted, and they also mentioned a broken card. Unfortunately, Franke doesn't give out the card to anyone else. So, we decided to try out a different service. The technician who came over touched the area between two parts and said there was a problem with the compressor. Oh, and just so you know, Franke will charge you directly for the compressor and then send it to you. Another company is offering a brand at the regular market price. Because it was urgent, we decided to go ahead and paid a cash deposit, as they mentioned there might be a price discrepancy on the bill! We gave them 1000 Turkish lira as a down payment and requested that they come on Wednesday instead of Tuesday. On Tuesday, someone came over without the compressor and said they couldn't fix it right away. We weren't home, and the refrigerator still isn't working. He said there was a 10% chance of fixing it, but no guarantee. After making a few phone calls, they eventually gave me my money back, but they also added a service fee. We gave Franke a call and told them they needed to reply within 24 hours, but 24 hours went by and we didn't hear back from them. It's up to you to decide. It turns out that the two services split their responsibilities between them. When I reached out to another service in a different part of the city, they were shocked by the price they quoted me: 14,500  ₺.
