Samsung Is Charging Me Extra for Repairs Despite My 10-year Compressor Warranty


I contacted Samsung Authorized Service, they came and checked the refrigerator, detecting that the compressor was faulty. They mentioned there was oil inside and gave a price of ₺8800, also stating that the card might need to be replaced, with an additional cost of ₺11800-₺12000. Since the device was not under warranty, I paid a service fee of ₺500. Even though they had previously said there would be no charge if the compressor was broken, I still ended up paying. It has been 7 years since I purchased the device, which has a 10-year compressor warranty. The Samsung RT38K5100S8/TR a+ 397 liters Twin Cooling Plus nofrost Refrigerator clearly states a 10-year compressor warranty, yet I am being asked to pay these additional fees. I am requesting that the compressor be replaced under warranty, but the service insists that other parts need to be changed, clearly to charge more. I’ve lost faith in the Samsung brand and am saying never again.
