I signed up for the free trial of Fotor AI and expected to test the service without risk. However, about a month later, as soon as there was enough balance on my credit card, Fotor automatically charged me $47 for an annual subscription without my active approval. I noticed the charge quickly and canceled my subscription within one hour, but the payment was still taken in full.
What frustrates me even more is that I never actually used the program. The so-called AI features are far below expectations and do not deliver the results that were advertised. Despite reaching out, I have not been able to get a refund for this unauthorized charge, and the system seems designed to make it very difficult for users to reclaim their money once charged.
I am requesting a full refund of the $47 annual subscription fee that was wrongfully withdrawn. I also urge Fotor to make their billing and cancellation process more transparent and customer-friendly. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will be forced to pursue further action to protect my consumer rights.
