WhatsApp Impersonation Scam Uses My Name to Defraud Friends

Two days ago I learned that an unknown person is using my name on WhatsApp from a different phone number. This person contacts my friends as if they were me, writes that I have credit card problems and no money, and asks them for financial help. They also send disturbing and inappropriate messages such as “I saw your nude videos, they are not good” and send bad photos. Because of this situation, one of my friends believed this person was me and sent a photo of her credit card. Afterwards, a purchase was made from Hepsiburada using this card, and my friend had to close her card. She is now waiting for her money to be refunded and is very upset, and I am also very distressed because my name is being used in this fraud. First this person opened a fake Instagram account in my name and started texting people from there, telling them that the WhatsApp number they share is “my new number.” Then they directed people from this fake Instagram account to the fraudulent WhatsApp number and continued the scam there. I am adding the WhatsApp contact information screen of the number used in this fraud, which is +9058255096**, and screenshots of the WhatsApp and Instagram conversations, including the messages where my number and WhatsApp contact are requested, as supporting evidence. With this complaint, I request that the WhatsApp account using my name from a different number be urgently detected and permanently closed, and that the necessary steps be taken to prevent this person from continuing to deceive and harm other people by pretending to be me. I kindly ask for this situation to be examined and for support to be provided to protect both me and my friends from further damage.
