I Was Denied Ford 360 Warranty for Alternator Repair
In September 2024, I had the flywheel replacement and annual maintenance of my vehicle done at the authorized Ford Çetaş service. Because I used their service, they offered a complimentary "Ford 360" warranty, which they claimed would cover any mechanical failure, including parts and labor, for one year. However, on July 6, 2025, my vehicle broke down in Gebze. After hearing a noise from the engine, I pulled over safely and called Ford Roadside Assistance. The mechanic determined the issue was with the alternator. I then contacted Ford Customer Service to confirm whether this part was covered under the warranty, and they told me it was. I took the car to the nearest authorized Ford Acamar service on Thursday, but they told me the part was not covered and that the warranty claim was denied. They demanded ₺27,000 for the repair. I’ve been left in a difficult situation for a week, and I am filing a complaint against both Ford Acamar and Ford Çetaş for misleading and failing to honor their warranty promise.
