Greetings, Since the day we purchased our vehicle with license plate 22 ** 506 dated 05.10.2021, we have been having all its maintenance done at Edirne Tuzcular Service. We had the 85,000-kilometer maintenance of our vehicle done on 25.01.2024. Approximately two days after the maintenance, while the vehicle was in motion, the engine malfunction light came on. The driver pulled over and contacted Ford Road Assistance. After being told by the road assistance that if the vehicle is operable, it should be taken to the service, the driver took the vehicle to the service on the same day for inspection. After conducting checks, the service stated that the engine malfunction light was on due to the diesel pump and that it wouldn't be a problem to continue using the vehicle in this condition, assuring that when we bring the vehicle on February 22nd (i.e., 25 days later) for an appointment, the problem would be fully addressed. We started using the vehicle after picking it up from the service. Approximately two days later, on January 30th, while the vehicle was in motion, the driver suddenly noticed the temperature light on the dashboard. The driver pulled over and contacted Ford Road Assistance again. Road assistance informed us that they would send a tow truck without moving the vehicle. The tow truck arrived at the location of the breakdown, took our vehicle, and delivered it to Ford Edirne Tuzcular Service. Upon inspection at the service, it was found that the return circulation pipe of the vehicle was burst, and after replacing the pipe, when the vehicle was started, it was observed that the engine gasket was burned, and upon dismantling the engine, it was found that the engine was burnt, and it was sent to the factory for rectification, as learned from our driver. I object to the engine of my car being sent for rectification without my consent and without being informed. Since the vehicle was purchased, all maintenance and repairs have been carried out at Edirne Ford Service. After the engine malfunction light came on, instead of addressing the issue, the service gave us an appointment for 25 days later, thereby preparing the ground for this malfunction. I demand that the engine be completely replaced with a crate engine. I do not want to have the engine of my vehicle rectified at 85,000 kilometers. In the meantime, I bought a new Ford Transit just a week ago. Two months ago, I also bought a Ford Transit. I chose these vehicles because of my trust in the brand. When my vehicle broke down, I bought it with confidence in your quick service and service organization. I hope I'm not mistaken. All pictures of the vehicle and license are attached. I was very upset when I saw my vehicle in the pictures. The vehicle looks damaged as if it collided with a truck. I request only a crate engine replacement to make this vehicle safe.
