Ford Refuses to Replace the Battery of My Car Still Under Warranty
My 2022 model vehicle, which is still under warranty, was not replaced under warranty even though it was determined by the service that it did not hold a charge and was defective. The excuse was that the vehicle had a tracking device. I was victimized with this excuse, even though the tracking device resulted in the battery's failure to hold the charge. I contacted the battery company (Mutlu Battery) and was told that since the battery was installed in the vehicle from the battery factory, the warranty issue should be resolved with the service and that the battery would have been replaced under warranty if it had been installed at any battery dealer. While the product could have been changed under warranty if there was no Ford Otosan in between, there was victimization due to Ford Otosan.
