Flydubai Customer Support Handled My Inquiry Unprofessionally

On June 2, 2026, I called Flydubai Türkiye using the phone number +90 212 543 00 53 to obtain information regarding my flight scheduled for July 17, 2026. Due to the suspension of Ankara flights, I wanted to understand the status of my booking and learn what alternatives, if any, would be available to me.
During the call, I was connected to a male employee whom I understood to be the Türkiye supervisor. Throughout the conversation, I remained calm, respectful, and focused solely on asking questions about my flight and the uncertainty surrounding my travel plans.
Despite this, the interaction quickly became extremely unpleasant. Rather than providing information or attempting to assist me, the employee repeatedly responded by saying “I don’t know” in a raised and aggressive tone. Each time I tried to seek clarification, I was met with the same dismissive response.
What was even more surprising was that the employee eventually accused me of calling “to start an argument,” even though I had done nothing more than ask reasonable questions about my booking. Immediately afterward, he abruptly ended the call by hanging up on me.
As a customer, I found this behavior highly disrespectful and completely unacceptable. I have never before experienced such poor communication while seeking basic information about an airline ticket. A customer service representative, particularly someone in a supervisory role, should be able to communicate professionally, provide guidance, and treat passengers with respect.
The uncertainty surrounding my July 17, 2026 flight remains unresolved. Because Ankara flights have reportedly been suspended, I still do not know what will happen to my reservation, whether my flight will operate, be rerouted, be rescheduled, or whether alternative arrangements will be offered.
I respectfully request that Flydubai conduct a formal review of this telephone conversation and investigate the conduct of the employee involved. I also request a written explanation regarding why I was treated in such an unprofessional manner.
In addition, I ask Flydubai to provide clear and detailed information regarding the status of my July 17, 2026 Ankara departure flight, including any available alternatives, schedule changes, rebooking options, or passenger rights applicable to my booking.
I expect this complaint to be taken seriously, the conduct of the employee to be reviewed, and my questions regarding my flight to be answered clearly and promptly.
