Google Family Link Lets My Child Uninstall Parental Controls Without Permission

I have been experiencing a serious problem with the Google Family Link app for approximately two months. My phone is a Redmi 13 Pro, while my child’s phone is a Tecno Pova Neo 2. Because my child has figured out how to remove the Family Link app from their own phone, they can easily uninstall it whenever they want.

As a parent, I use this app to monitor my child’s phone usage and help keep them safe. However, because my child is able to remove the app from the phone without any difficulty, Family Link is completely unable to serve its intended purpose. I have repeatedly reinstalled the app, but the problem remains the same, and my child is still able to uninstall it.

I do not consider it acceptable that Family Link can be disabled so easily by a child. For the safety of children and the effectiveness of parental controls, I request that the app cannot be removed from the child’s device without parental authorization, or that Google provide a stronger protection mechanism to prevent this from happening. I would like an explanation regarding the issue I have experienced and a permanent solution.
