Faber-Castell Modeling Clay Contained Glass Pieces

On May 17, 2026, I purchased a Faber-Castell four-pack of modeling clay from ŞOK Market in the Fırat Neighborhood of Diyarbakır. When we opened the package, we discovered that two of the containers contained small pieces of glass mixed into the modeling clay. Finding glass inside a product specifically designed for children to play with was extremely shocking and alarming. Fortunately, we noticed the glass before our child had a chance to use the clay, and no injuries occurred.
This situation represents a serious safety hazard not only for my child but also for every other child who may have purchased the same product. Children's modeling clay should never contain hazardous foreign objects such as glass.
I urge Faber-Castell to immediately investigate this production batch to determine how glass contamination occurred. If this issue affects other products from the same batch, the company should take appropriate action, including recalling the affected products if necessary, to protect children's safety. I also request a clear explanation of the findings and the corrective measures being taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.
