Etstur Refused Full Refund for My Overpriced Cyprus Package
My wife booked a vacation package to Cyprus through Etstur just 3–4 days ago, and there’s still nearly a month left before the trip. We paid extra for a money-back guarantee at the time of booking, and the package cost over ₺160,000. However, we found the exact same hotel, dates, and conditions offered by another company for ₺110,000—a massive price difference. Naturally, we requested a cancellation, but Etstur made it difficult, first saying our flight tickets would be forfeited, then later offering only a partial refund. We want a full refund; after all, why did we pay extra for a free cancellation option? When convenient, they call it a "package," but when not, they claim the flight isn’t their responsibility. We can’t understand this attitude with a full month left before the trip, and the process has already exhausted us before we’ve even gone on vacation. I will never use Etstur again. Also, while the system showed a cancellation fee of around ₺900, they charged my spouse over ₺1,400. Nothing matches what was written, and to top it off, they’re trying to sell a ₺110,000 trip for ₺160,000.
