Etihad Airways Canceled My Abu Dhabi to Sydney Flight and Delayed My Refund

Etihad Airways has been somewhat challenging experience for me. After a system fault partially cancelled my round-trip ticket from Abu Dhabi to Sydney, I was left stranded at the airport and had to purchase a new ticket at twice the original amount. After seven months of pursuing customer support for a refund, all I get are nebulous promises or justification to wait another thirty to forty-five days. With prepared responses that provide no answers, calls, emails, and internet conversations have been absolutely useless. For an airline with their reputation, this degree of service is inexcusable; their lack of professionalism and responsibility really let me down.
