I no longer have access to the email address registered on my Epic Games Store account because I changed my phone number. About a year ago, I changed my phone and believed that I had also updated the number on my Epic Games account. However, since my old phone number has been completely deactivated, I can no longer receive verification codes. The last four digits of the number are the same, only the prefix changed, so I believe this may have caused confusion in the system.
At the moment, I can log in to my Epic Games account, but I have no access at all to the email address linked to it. Despite this, I am unable to change the registered email through the system, which prevents me from using my account securely. I have multiple games on this account, including paid titles such as GTA V and Farming Simulator, and this account is valuable to me.
I have submitted two separate support requests to Epic Games regarding this issue. My ticket numbers are 22583177 and 22587456, but I have not seen any response. If replies are being sent via email, I naturally cannot read them because I no longer have access to that email address.
I request that Epic Games apply the necessary identity and account verification steps and update the email address linked to my account to a new email address that I can access, so that I can continue using my account securely without being tied to an email address I can no longer use.
