I previously added the game Bendy to my library through Epic Games during a free promotional period. It was not a limited-time trial—the game was being given away for free, and I claimed it on my account that way.
About a month later, when I tried to log into my Epic Games account, I started getting an error that said something like “you’re logging into this account too many times.” But I only log into my account about once every five days. Later, when I turned off my VPN and tried again, I was able to log in—but this time, when I tried to launch Bendy, I got an error saying “you do not own this application.” After that error, the game started showing in the store as $5 instead of free.
Right now, the game shows as installed in my Epic Games library and it can launch on my PC, but after about 15 minutes in the game, it closes by itself. I don’t have this issue with any other games or programs on my computer—the problem only happens with Bendy.
I want Epic Games to make sure this free game is permanently and properly assigned to my account, fix the “you do not own this application” error, and investigate the technical issue causing the game to close on its own. The email address linked to my account is: o*********@gmail.com**.
