Epic Games Cloud Sync Deleted My Farming Simulator 22 Save File
I experienced a major data loss issue in Farming Simulator 22, which I purchased through Epic Games. On June 18, 2026, at approximately 6:22 PM, I exited the game normally after saving my progress. At that time, the save file was present in the game's local folder, and Epic Games began its cloud synchronization process as expected.
However, when I later launched the game again, I discovered that my saved game had completely disappeared. I was no longer able to access my progress, and the save file was missing from the game. After thoroughly checking my computer, I could not locate the save data anywhere on my system.
Based on what happened, I believe the save file may have been lost, overwritten, or deleted during Epic Games' cloud synchronization process. This save contained a significant amount of progress and many hours of gameplay, making the loss extremely frustrating and disappointing.
I attempted to contact Epic Games Support regarding the issue, but I was unable to reach a representative or obtain any meaningful assistance. As a result, I have received neither an explanation nor a solution regarding the disappearance of my game data. The inability to access support after such a serious data loss has only added to my frustration.
I request that Epic Games investigate the cloud synchronization logs associated with my account and attempt to restore my deleted Farming Simulator 22 save file. If technical recovery is not possible, I ask that Epic Games provide an appropriate resolution or compensation for the loss of my game progress and the time invested in the save.
I would also appreciate a clear written explanation regarding what happened to the save data and whether any backup or recovery options are available.
