On September 18, 2025, I rented a car through eDreams to pick up at Ankara Airport. I had a very important appointment that day, so it was essential for me to collect the car on time. However, when I arrived at the airport desk, the representative refused to accept my internationally valid driver’s license and told me that they could not hand over the vehicle. As a result, I couldn’t get the car and missed my appointment.
During this ordeal, I contacted eDreams every day through their live chat support, but I was repeatedly brushed off and still haven’t received my refund. I paid a total of ₺13,826.18 for the car rental using my credit card (reservation number: TR850209610). Since I couldn’t collect the car, I had to rent another vehicle from a different company at the airport for ₺18,600. On top of that, missing my appointment caused an additional loss of around ₺10,000.
All I’m asking from eDreams is a refund for the reservation since I didn’t receive any service. If my complaint is not resolved promptly, I will take legal action through my attorney and seek compensation for the financial and personal damages I have suffered.
