I Face eDreams Prime Subscription Charge Without Consent

On the morning of April 28, 2026, I booked a flight ticket for my niece, Samarah Tonk**, through eDreams from Cape Town to Johannesburg under booking reference S6PHVZ. At the time of purchase, when I paid with my bank card, I was not clearly informed that any subscription would be added to my booking.

However, on April 11, an amount of R229 was deducted from my bank account using the same card details. On my bank statement, this charge appears as “eDreams Prime M Barcelon.” I did not knowingly subscribe to eDreams Prime and did not give informed consent for any recurring subscription linked to this booking.

When I attempted to contact eDreams by phone, I was only able to reach an automated system that could not understand my responses, and I was unable to speak with a human representative. As a result, I have not been able to resolve this issue directly with the company.

I request that eDreams immediately cancel any eDreams Prime or similar subscription associated with my account and confirm that no further charges will be made to my bank account going forward.
