eDreams Charged Me Monthly After Booking a Flight
I booked a FlySafair flight through eDreams under booking reference FSUYAA for travel on 10 January 2026. After this purchase, eDreams started debiting my bank account with unexplained monthly charges of R229. These debits were taken in January and February, for a total of R458, and I have never been informed of, nor did I knowingly agree to, any ongoing subscription or monthly fee. On the first deduction in January, I contacted eDreams and provided all the details they requested. However, after sending the information, I received no response, no explanation, and no resolution, and the deduction has now occurred again. I did not contact my bank at first because I assumed this was a once-off charge related to my booking, but it is now clear that a recurring debit is being made without my clear consent or understanding of what it is for. I request an immediate full refund of the total amount of R458 that has been debited from my account and the urgent cancellation of whatever subscription or service these deductions relate to, so that no further amounts are taken from my account. I also expect a clear written explanation of how and why this recurring charge was initiated.
eDreams is repeatedly debiting my account without authorization, and the issue remains unresolved.
