I’m extremely disappointed with Dyson. I paid three times the price of a standard vacuum, expecting long-term quality and reliable customer service. Instead, I’ve had to contact support twice—and both experiences were awful.
The first issue was with an accessory they claimed wasn’t covered under warranty, even though every representative said on video call that my device was well-maintained and the damage wasn’t user error. It still wasn’t approved. I waited 3–4 months and eventually resolved it myself.
Now, my vacuum suddenly stopped working entirely—won’t even turn on. The device was never used on its highest setting and was cleaned regularly. It’s used in a house with 5 vacuums total, and Dyson was used with care in a 200 m² home. There’s no excuse for the battery to fail this quickly, especially before the 3-year mark.
What’s worse is the support agent didn’t let me speak, was incredibly rude, and just told me to buy a new battery—which costs nearly as much as the vacuum itself. This is not acceptable for a premium brand. We didn’t buy a budget model from a supermarket; we trusted Dyson’s name and quality.
