I Face Loss of Suction and Power Failure on My Dyson V11 Vacuum After Months of Issues
I purchased a Dyson V11 vacuum expecting premium performance, but my experience has been anything but that. For a long time, the suction was noticeably weak, even after regular cleaning. The head attachment’s release mechanism constantly jammed, and I had to force it open just to clean the unit. Eventually, I noticed the red rubber piece from the dustbin had fallen off.
I reached out to Dyson customer service multiple times and was told to order a new dustbin. However, it was out of stock for months. During two separate video calls with Dyson, I clearly showed the issue and confirmed that I had been following all their cleaning and maintenance recommendations. Still, the suction never improved. On the second call, they repeated the same advice and told me to send it in for a paid maintenance service.
Soon after that, the vacuum stopped working altogether—it doesn’t charge or turn on anymore. The dustbin is still unavailable, and the head attachment remains jammed. I now have a completely non-functional vacuum, and all of this could have been avoided if Dyson had resolved the issue when I first reported it.
I’m extremely disappointed and demand that Dyson take full responsibility for the delay in support and the resulting damage. This product was far too expensive for such a poor and unresolved experience. I expect my issue to be resolved immediately, including a replacement or full repair at no cost.
