I Burn My Thumb Using Dyson V15 Submarine—Motor Area Overheats and Hurts to Touch

I’ve been using the Dyson V15 Submarine for about 7 months now. While I was initially happy with the vacuum’s performance, it has developed a serious and painful issue that completely ruined the experience for me. Every time I use the device, my right thumb ends up resting near the motor casing, which heats up so much that it’s causing burn-like sensations on my skin.
At first, I thought it might just be me. But the pain has become so persistent that I started looking for answers online—and I’ve discovered that many other users are experiencing the exact same issue. That’s when I realized this isn’t a one-off defect, but a design flaw that Dyson has failed to acknowledge or fix.
The vacuum may work well in terms of suction, but what’s the point if I can’t hold it comfortably? The overheating near the motor has made it physically painful to use the product. If this happens one more time, I’ll be demanding a full refund or return, because no one should be risking actual injury using a home appliance that costs this much—₺.
Dyson, this is unacceptable. A premium product like the V15 should not have a heating issue that puts users at risk. I expect a real solution—not excuses.
