Dyson's Selective Warranty Changes In Every Country


I recently purchased a Dyson vacuum cleaner, excited about its reputation for quality and durability. However, my enthusiasm quickly turned to frustration when I encountered a warranty issue with one of the attachments. The under-furniture attachment, an optional accessory purchased separately, developed a fault where the rear section would detach unexpectedly. While this issue didn't directly affect the vacuum's core functionality, it certainly rendered the attachment unusable. Confident in Dyson's warranty coverage, I contacted their customer support to seek a replacement or repair. However, to my dismay, I was informed that the attachment was not covered under warranty since it didn't directly impact the vacuum's primary function. This explanation left me baffled. Dyson's warranty policy apparently dictates that optional accessories, even those purchased separately, are not entitled to the same coverage as the main product. This arbitrary distinction feels like a ploy to avoid warranty claims and shift the financial burden onto the customer.
