Dyson V15 Detect Still Shows "Airway Blocked" After Paid Repair

7

I purchased a Dyson V15 Detect vacuum cleaner, and due to a motor failure I have been constantly receiving the “Airway Blocked” warning during use. Although it was clear that the problem was not caused by the filter, after a video inspection your customer service insisted that I purchase a new HEPA filter. Trusting Dyson’s assessment, I paid TRY 1,500 for the filter, but the problem remained exactly the same. After this, I followed Dyson’s paid repair process. My vacuum was collected from me in Izmir, Turkey on 18 June 2026, and I was charged TRY 6,500 for the repair, which I paid immediately as requested. Despite this, my vacuum has still not been repaired. For the first 10 days, I was repeatedly told that my vacuum was at the service center. However, on the 17th day I found out that it had never even arrived there. Instead of Dyson investigating the situation, I had to contact the courier company myself. The shipment records show that the vacuum was only delivered to the service center on 6 July 2026. Since then, more than 15 business days have passed without any solution. Despite my repeated calls, I always receive the same response that “your device is under maintenance,” and I am not given any clear information about the status of the repair or when my vacuum will be returned. As of 24 July 2026, there has been no progress and I have been left without a vacuum cleaner for weeks, which has seriously disrupted my daily life. I did not expect such an incompetent and misleading service process from a brand like Dyson. The serial number of my product is U3B-EU-SDE4415A. I formally request that Dyson immediately and properly repair my Dyson V15 Detect vacuum cleaner and return it to me without any further delay. If this is not possible, I demand either a brand-new replacement device or a full refund of the product price, together with reimbursement of the TRY 1,500 HEPA filter cost and the TRY 6,500 repair fee that I have already paid. Otherwise, I will file a complaint with the Turkish Consumer Arbitration Committee and pursue all available legal remedies. After this experience, I will not purchase another Dyson product again.

I've truly realized that, at this point, everything is just a sales strategy and advertising. It's been two months since I sent my vacuum cleaner to service, and today my device still hasn't been sent back. Yesterday I started legal proceedings, and they immediately called and offered to send a new device. During the conversation, the representative admitted that they never actually found my device! From the beginning, the whole process, the communications, and the claim that it was 'visible in the service' that the representatives kept pushing showed that everything was a fiasco. I repeated this many times in the discussions, saying that they must have lost my device and now they have no idea what to do. Indeed, I learned that this is exactly the case! I filed a lawsuit; I will definitely get my rights. I demanded either a zero‑cost device or a free device to compensate for the filter fee, the service charge, and the hardship they've caused us. Since they have far exceeded the legal deadline, the company has no way left to defend its operating principles.
