My Dyson V12 cordless vacuum, with serial number T8G-EU-REK1849A, has had the same recurring issue three times since I bought it. It keeps shutting down with a "clogged air filter" signal. The vacuum has been sent to service three times; twice they replaced the filter, but the third time, they only cleaned it without making any repairs. Additionally, the air sponge wrapped around the motor started to tear, and they simply removed it and returned the vacuum without a replacement. Despite the ongoing issue, Dyson has only provided temporary fixes instead of a permanent solution. Now, I’m stuck waiting for the vacuum to fail again and for it to be sent back to service. On social media, Dyson promotes that they send a new unit when sponges get deformed, but in my case, it was just removed and sent back. Normally, we all know that a product that requires service three times for the same issue should be replaced under warranty, but all I received was a dirty filter. This has shown me that Dyson's reputation might be overhyped.
