Dyson V12 Battery Drains in 15 Minutes – Not as Advertised

I purchased a Dyson V12 cordless vacuum, and it arrived this morning. I immediately charged it for 5 hours as instructed and then started using it. However, to my disappointment, the battery only lasted 15-20 minutes before dying.
Dyson advertises that this vacuum should run for up to 1 hour on a full charge, but mine barely managed to clean one room before shutting down. After reading customer reviews, I realized this is a common issue, which makes me regret my purchase even more.
Had I known about these battery problems, I would have chosen Miele instead. I expect Dyson to address this issue and provide a real solution—this is not what I paid for!

I purchased a Dyson V12 two years ago, and the issues never seem to end. Now, the vacuum shuts off 2-3 seconds after pressing the power button and won’t stay on. Since the warranty has expired, Dyson is demanding an extremely high repair fee, which is frustrating for a product at this price. I expe...

"I was contacted and told that the battery would be replaced by calling the service, because there was no battery in stock. I was told that a payment of around 5900 TL would be required. I sent it today. Since the battery life is 2 years, I don't want to pay a high battery price for the vacuum every 2 years. I am renewing the battery once as a one-time thing, and I will probably throw it away in 2 years. It makes much more sense to buy a new vacuum from another company. I don't recommend it to anyone. Thank you for the courteous response."
