Dyson V12 Absolute + Motorhead Stock Issue

We've been dealing with recurring troubles since February 14, 2023, when the Dyson V12 Absolute Plus, notably the Motorhead attachment, arrived. The device did not operate on the first day, therefore we contacted customer care. They tried to help us over the phone and tightened a few screws, which temporarily fixed the problem for two days before it failed again. Dyson did not stand behind their faulty product. We then requested a replacement attachment, but were told that they didn't have it in store and would have to wait. We attempted to use the smaller attachment (the dusting brush), which resulted in a gap between the hose and machine connection. We have been unable to use the machine efficiently since the day we purchased it, more than a year ago. We've been in limbo with the attachment for exactly 13 months. We have personally followed up on the situation every month, only to be informed that the attachment is still unavailable. Despite our suggestions for alternate options, they refused to accommodate us. Dyson has created multiple files on our case, however they have not presented any remedies. On March 8, 2024, we called customer support again and were told that the attachment was still unavailable and that we would have to wait indefinitely. We decided to take legal action. If they are unable to supply a replacement attachment after 13 months, they should repair the defective equipment or refund our money. Unfortunately, we have not made any progress in almost a year. Dyson has been a disappointment.
