Dyson V11 Repair Issue – Unreasonable Charge for Full Body Replacement

I brought my Dyson V11 to the service center for a minor issue with the latch mechanism, which was sticking. Initially, I was told the part needed was unavailable and that I would have to wait for some time. I agreed to this, understanding the delay. However, later the same day, I was informed that the entire body of the vacuum needed replacement, and I was charged ₺5600 for this.

How is it reasonable to replace the whole unit for such a minor issue without attempting to source the specific part? This approach makes no sense, and I feel it’s an unfair burden on customers.

I expect Dyson to provide a more reasonable solution and address this issue promptly. Such practices are unacceptable for a premium brand. Please contact me with a fair resolution!
