Dyson Airwrap Brush Attachment Melted After Only a Few Uses

I purchased a Dyson Airwrap with the round volumizing brush attachment from the Dyson store in İstinyePark on 16.05.2026. Despite using the device very carefully, the volumizing brush attachment deformed after only about 5–6 uses within one month. The bristles melted and bent because the attachment could not withstand the device’s own operating heat. There has been absolutely no dropping, impact, breakage, or user-inflicted damage to the product; the issue is that the plastic material melted solely due to the functional heat generated by the device itself. When I contacted Dyson Turkey customer service, I was extremely disappointed by their attitude. Under Turkish Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, any defect occurring within the first 6 months is legally presumed to be a manufacturing fault. Despite this, my request was rejected with standard copy-paste responses. I was told that “broken parts or disrupted integrity are not covered by warranty” even though there is no breakage on the product, and my legal rights were completely ignored. Instead of recognizing this as a clear material quality and manufacturing problem, I was directed towards purchasing a paid replacement attachment. I urgently request that Dyson examine this issue in line with Law No. 6502 and replace this defective round volumizing brush attachment free of charge, without any cost to me. I also expect Dyson to review the attitude and responses of its customer service, which ignore statutory consumer rights and attempt to shift the burden onto the customer despite an obvious defect within the first 6 months.
