Dyson Airstrait Pulls Hair and Gets Stuck

On September 17, 2025, I purchased a Dyson Airstrait hair styler from Dyson’s official website. After receiving the product, I only used it twice. During both uses, I noticed that the plates had a problem — the device was pulling my hair, and it would get stuck in the plates instead of gliding smoothly. Even though the product was brand-new, I experienced these issues right away and stopped using it for fear of causing more damage to my hair.
I contacted Dyson customer service and showed the issue via video call. I was advised to send the product to their service center. However, when I did, the report came back stating that “no defect was found,” and the product was returned to me without any repair or replacement. The problem still persists.
When I later requested a return, Dyson claimed that the 14-day return period had expired, and my refund request was denied. However, by law, I know that the return period is 30 days, and it hasn’t even been a full month since I purchased the product. Moreover, I couldn’t use it properly due to the malfunction.
When I contacted Dyson customer service again by phone, they still refused to process my return and offered no solution. My product is under warranty, and I paid ₺22,999 via credit card. I received the product in Bağcılar, Istanbul, and I expect Dyson to take responsibility for the issue and resolve my grievance by accepting the product return. If no resolution is provided, I will file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Committee. I am urgently requesting a fair and solution-oriented response.
