Bobby Pin Found Inside Boston Kreme Donut at Dunkin’ Pensacola

On June 17, 2029 at 8:47 a.m., my wife and I visited the Dunkin’ location in Pensacola, store #356321. Our order included a Boston Kreme donut, a caramel coffee, and Snackin’ Bacon. While my wife was eating the Boston Kreme donut, she bit into a bobby pin that was baked or placed inside the donut. She immediately took it out of her mouth put it back in the donut. We immediately reported this to the store, referencing check #3727, and spoke with the staff member identified on the check as Heather (person 680479). At the store we were told to contact corporate. This incident has caused us a great deal of stress and disgust, especially knowing that the bobby pin likely came from someone’s hair and may have carried germs or disease. It is alarming that an object like this could make it into food that is being sold to customers. I am requesting that Dunkin’ conduct a formal and thorough investigation into how a bobby pin ended up inside a donut at this location, and what steps will be taken to ensure this does not happen again. I would also like to be informed of the outcome of this investigation and what measures will be put in place to protect customer health and safety in the future. In addition, due to the stress, disgust, and potential health concerns this incident has caused, I believe appropriate compensation should be provided to us.
