Starbucks Food Safety Complaint — Poor Quality Drinks and Pastries Led to Illness
On September 27, 2025, between 1:00–2:00 PM, my friend and I ordered an iced latte, a cookie, and a brownie at the Starbucks branch located at Doğu Garajı in Muratpaşa, Antalya. We have been regular customers of this branch for a long time and have never experienced such an issue before. However, this time both the drinks and the food were extremely disappointing. The iced latte seemed carelessly prepared and tasted nothing like it usually does. The cookie and brownie left a bitter, unpleasant taste in our mouths that lingered for a long time.
Even worse, after consuming these products, both my friend and I experienced severe stomach pain and discomfort. The food poisoning-like symptoms we had were truly awful. We paid by card but did not receive a receipt.
Although we have never had a problem before, after today’s experience we do not plan to return to this branch again. From Starbucks, I expect these products to be examined and for our grievance to be addressed. I request that the freshness and quality of the food be inspected and that proper measures be taken to prevent this from happening again.
