I paid for DPD next-day delivery; why is it taking a week and what can I do?

If your DPD next-day delivery has taken several days, start by checking the tracking page for updates such as “delayed in transit” or “held at depot.”

Sometimes, delays occur due to routing errors, extreme weather, or customs checks if it’s an international shipment.

If the tracking hasn’t changed for more than 48 hours, contact DPD through live chat or by phone (UK: 0121 275 0500) with your tracking number to request an investigation.

You can also ask the sender or retailer to open a formal delay claim for compensation since they are the DPD contract holder.

If DPD doesn’t respond or the delay remains unresolved, share your experience or file a complaint on Xolvie to raise awareness and get advice from others facing similar delivery problems.
