Domestika Charged Me for a Plus Membership I Never Agreed to After Buying Courses
On March 21, 2025, I purchased two courses on Domestika for a total of ₺99. That’s all I intended to do—buy the courses and pay for them, which I did. But without my knowledge, I was automatically enrolled in a trial for their Plus membership. Then on April 21, 2025, a charge of ₺3,994.47 was suddenly withdrawn from my credit card for a full-year subscription I never wanted or approved.
I had no idea I was in any kind of trial, and I certainly didn’t agree to be charged nearly ₺4000 a month later. I tried disputing the charge with my bank, but there’s no way to contact Domestika directly. They don’t provide any reachable email address or proper customer support. It feels like they set a trap for unsuspecting users.
I only wanted two courses—and I paid for them. I never consented to a yearly subscription. Domestika, I demand a full refund of the ₺3,994.47 charged without my approval. You cannot hide behind silent trial conversions and take people’s money without clear consent.
I filed a spending objection with the bank and received a refund months later. I will never do business with this company again.
