While flying my DJI Mini 4K drone, it suddenly lost all connection with the remote controller without warning. Shockingly, the Return-to-Home (RTH) function, which is supposed to activate in these situations, didn’t work either. The drone was only about 30 meters away—how can a product from a globally trusted brand lose connection at such a short range?
Despite all my efforts, I couldn’t locate the drone. It vanished completely. I bought this drone with excitement, believing in DJI’s reputation for reliability and advanced flight safety features. But this incident shows otherwise. I now feel completely let down.
DJI needs to acknowledge and take responsibility for what appears to be a serious software or signal-related failure. I didn’t just lose a drone—I lost trust in the brand. For the price we pay, we deserve better. I demand DJI stand behind its product and offer a real solution to this issue. Please help recover or replace my drone, or at the very least offer proper compensation and transparency about this malfunction.
