Deutz Fahr Sold Me a Faulty 5070 DF Tractor and Service Failed to Fix the Issues
In November, we purchased a Deutz Fahr 5070 DF garden tractor. The service came for the 50-hour maintenance, changed the filters and engine oil, but said there was no need to change the transmission oil. However, when the zero-hour tractor's transmission oil was checked at just 50 hours, it was found to be 5 liters short. Yes, the factory had put in less oil, and we had to pay for it ourselves to fill the deficit. We don't know if operating the tractor with insufficient oil caused any damage. There was no report or document provided regarding this situation, not even for the periodic maintenance performed. On top of that, the customer service representative's tone, approach, and communication skills (or lack thereof) were laughable and frustrating. The maintenance cost was exorbitant, and after negotiating, we managed to get the service to agree to 12,000₺. How is it possible for two filters and an engine oil change to cost 12,000₺ in 2024? No wonder people don’t buy this brand without hesitation; for the same maintenance, it costs only 5,000₺ elsewhere. Now, diesel has been leaking from the tractor's fuel tank for days, and despite calling the service repeatedly, they casually say, "I'll come when I have business in that area." We deeply regret choosing a brand so far from being professional.
