Skoda Service Did Not Replace Air and AC Filters During 45000 Km Service
I purchased my Skoda car from "Keleşler Oto" in Kocaeli, Turkey, in September 2019 and have consistently followed the recommended service intervals. At 15,000 km, I brought my car to Keleşler Oto for a regular maintenance service, during which they replaced the oil, oil filter, air filter, and AC pollen filter as expected. This full service was repeated at 30,000 km. However, at the 45,000 km service on September 18, 2024, only 4.7 liters of oil and the oil filter were replaced, while the air and AC pollen filters were left unchanged. This oversight now requires me to drive from 45,000 km to 60,000 km with used air and AC pollen filters, totaling 30,000 km without a filter change—double the usual replacement interval and contrary to safe maintenance practices. This is neither appropriate nor healthy for any vehicle, and I believe it affects my car’s performance. I am requesting that these filters be replaced at no additional cost, as they should have been included in the 45,000 km service. Thank you for addressing this issue.
