My Defective Dell S2721DGFA Monitor Was Replaced With A Cheaper One
In November 2022, I contacted Dell regarding a defect in my Dell S2721DGFA monitor. I was promised that my faulty device would be replaced with the same model, albeit used. However, instead, I received a G2724D monitor. While the specifications seemed similar at first glance (27 inches, 165 Hz, 1440p), the actual quality of the G2724D did not match what I had paid for and expected from the S2721DGFA.
Upon further contact, I was informed that the S2721DGFA was not in stock and had to be sourced from abroad, which I accepted. However, once again, a used monitor from abroad was delivered, and it was again the G2724D. When I reached out again, they offered me a refund. In the current economic situation, however, I cannot even afford the S2721DGFA with a refund, let alone the G2724D, which I do not like.
