Today's date is November 28, 2023. I've been grappling with an ongoing issue involving Daikin, a company that has yet to address my complaint. Since June 2023, they've replaced my Daikin heat pump twice due to water leakage, and just a month ago, they installed a third unit of the same model. Unfortunately, the problem persists, with water continuing to leak from the same spot. In response, they've introduced a new argument, suggesting that the high pH level of the water itself may be causing the leak. Their proposed solution is to install a purifier. The irony is, we chose Daikin based on a neighbor's recommendation who successfully used a different model heat pump from the same brand in our community without any issues. Now, I'm left questioning why the same water causes problems for us while others in our neighborhood using different brands face no such challenges. I believe that Daikin should analyze the water beforehand and address any potential issues before making a sale. despite their claim about water quality, it's perplexing that our heat pump consistently experiences the same leakage problem. Even if the water were acidic, it shouldn't be causing such significant damage. This kind of response is not what one would expect from a reputable company like Daikin. Since June, we've endured a series of challenges, facing hot water issues throughout the summer, damage to our tank, and the mental toll of this ongoing problem. As winter sets in, we hoped to have a functional heating system, but unfortunately, our heat pump is still not working. daikin's customer service has been less than satisfactory. The call center takes notes but doesn't follow up, the technical service claims to be waiting for news from the regional directorate, and the seller insists that the regional directorate is involved. However, the whereabouts of the regional directorate, to which İzmir Cesme is affiliated, remain unknown. The lack of communication and resolution is disheartening. Considering the prolonged inconvenience and dissatisfaction, we now seek a refund. The initial offer was presented in EUR, and we converted it to TL based on the exchange rate on the payment date. I request that the refund be expedited and processed at today's exchange rate for the equivalent EUR amount. Additionally, I expect a separate reimbursement for the damage incurred to our property during this ordeal. Your prompt attention to this matter is urgently requested.
