On 18/05/2026, a Daikin LTXM35N wall type air conditioner was installed in my home in Serdivan, Sakarya. During the installation process, the authorized service completed the setup and started the warranty by SMS. While they were explaining to me at the end of the installation how to clean the filter, I coincidentally noticed that there was a visible dent on the coil fins (serpentine leaves) of the indoor unit. Despite this damage, they had already finalized the installation and activated the warranty without informing me of any defect. When I pointed out the damaged coil fins, the service staff stated that “it is not important and not our fault, but if you want to complain about it, it is the responsibility of the seller, not us,” and did not offer any solution. Afterwards, I called the seller and explained the situation. The seller told me that Daikin service personnel should have warned me, reported this damage and should not have started the warranty, and that after the warranty is started they cannot take the unit back. In other words, I was left between the seller and the service, with each side shifting responsibility to the other instead of resolving the problem. I also tried to submit my complaint through Daikin’s official website, but the page gave an error and I was unable to register my issue digitally. The installation / service record number for this process is 9063454. I request that the currently installed damaged unit be replaced with a brand new Daikin LTXM35N wall type air conditioner that is completely damage-free, and that this replacement be carried out as soon as possible. I kindly ask you to review this situation, clarify the responsibility between the seller and the authorized service, and return to me with information about the replacement process.
