2023 Dacia Jogger 1.0 Eco Turbo Warranty Fiasco
About a month ago, I bought a 2023 Dacia Jogger 1.0 Eco Turbo 110 HP 7-seater car to use for my taxi business. We have been promoting the Dacia brand for the past 15 years through various changes in their vehicles. But, during the first 6,000 kilometers of using the Dacia Jogger, the car shook a lot when starting up. After this problem happened multiple times, I took my car to the authorized service center. They said that the noise might be coming from the flywheel. They said that the sound recording should be sent to Renault for approval before taking apart the part to figure out what was wrong. After a day, they called us to let us know that the problem wasn't our fault, and they would replace the flywheel and give us back the vehicle. But the next day, they said it was actually the user's fault, saying that the pressure plates burned out (even though the experts who checked the removed part found no signs of burning). They kept saying that the issue was caused by things like not fully engaging the clutch or keeping pressure on it for too long, and they wanted $38,700 as payment. We plan to challenge this charge in court because we're confident that examining the removed parts will help prove our innocence. I've been using Dacia for a long time, and it's really frustrating that the brand doesn't take responsibility for major problems, other than socket or lamp issues. They just blame the user without any solid evidence. We will keep everyone involved informed about the progress of the legal action.
