I currently live in Germany and want to report an issue with Corendon Airlines. The airline canceled my Düsseldorf-İzmir flight scheduled for August 15, 2025, which was booked under my spouse's name, without providing any reason. They sent an email stating that the ticket was converted to an open ticket, allowing free changes within seven days before or after the original flight date.
When I contacted customer service to reschedule, they demanded a significant fare difference because bagless flight options were no longer available. I was forced to book a baggage-inclusive flight and pay the extra cost. When I opted to cancel the ticket entirely for a refund, they deducted a €10 penalty without prior notice.
This has caused both financial and personal inconvenience. We now face higher ticket prices, and the work leave I managed to secure has gone to waste. I am requesting that Corendon Airlines resolve this issue by refunding the full ticket price and addressing the unreasonable charges and lack of communication.
