Columbia Trekking Shoes Deformed and Water-Ingressed in Just 7 Months

Every year, without fail, the sports shoes I buy end up deformed by the end of the year. Seeking durability, I decided to try trekking shoes based on a friend's recommendation and purchased a pair from COLUMBIA, a brand I considered the best. However, these shoes became deformed and started letting in water after only 7 months of use. Had I known this would happen, I could have bought two pairs and used them alternately for different seasons. Unfortunately, I trusted the brand and now I'm facing this issue. I contacted the shop and they advised me to have the shoes examined, so I agreed on April 14, 2023. However, the examination was rejected on May 24, 2023. Frustrated, I reached out to the head office customer service, who promised a second examination on May 25, 2023. The shop dispatched the shoes on the same day, but on June 15, 2023, when I contacted the head office, they had no information and blamed the shop. They requested more time to talk with the shop, leaving me waiting since June 2023. This situation has left me deeply upset. I trusted the COLUMBIA trademark, but it has let me down. If I had chosen any other sports shoes, they would have lasted at least a year. This famous trekking shoe, recommended by the seller, couldn't even withstand 7 months without deforming and letting in water. I feel disappointed and frustrated. I want to warn others about the poor durability of COLUMBIA's materials and the lack of communication between the shop and the head office in Turkey. I've shared my experience on complaint sites and with those around me. It's disheartening that this has happened.
