Columbia's Faulty Shirt and Indifferent Customer Service



On July 6, 2023, at Samsun Piazza Mall, my spouse and I made several purchases from the Columbia store. My spouse tried on one of the shirts in the store, and the helpful staff members assisted us by removing the tag. We enjoyed the pleasant conversation with the manager and employees at that time. However, when we returned home, we noticed systematic tears along the bottom edges of the shirt as my spouse took it off. Despite being in a different district, we went back to the store on July 8, 2023, to request an exchange. Unfortunately, the manager and the employee who had previously assisted us were absent, and different individuals were present. Despite requesting an exchange, they informed us that they would send the item for inspection. Their attitude and behavior were indifferent, making us feel as if we were at fault. This experience shattered my perception of the brand, and the sense of worthlessness they made us feel was even more disheartening. I wonder if Columbia's disregard extends to other countries as well. After all, we promptly returned the faulty product within two days.
The company Columbia could not stand behind its own mistake and was able to review the defects almost at the end of summer. The result was not surprising, and they blamed us. Congratulations, Columbia, I think you are joking with us. We couldn't resolve it here, so we will proceed with legal action. They did not take this seriously.
