I purchased a pair of Columbia waterproof shoes from Forum İstanbul AVM, expecting them to be high quality. However, the left shoe leaked water in the rain, proving that it is not actually waterproof.
Since my family frequently shops at different Columbia stores, we weren’t initially sure which location the purchase was from. We took the shoes to the Mall of İstanbul store, but they refused to accept them, saying we had to return them to the exact store where they were purchased. So much for being a major brand with proper customer service!
If someone buys Columbia products and travels out of town, they're out of luck if there's a defect—no store will help. After finally tracking down the correct store, we sent the shoes for inspection, only for them to be returned with a generic rejection letter, dismissing our claim.
Columbia refuses to stand behind its so-called waterproof shoes, despite selling them at high prices. If the product fails, they simply ignore it. I will never buy from Columbia again! Fix your warranty policy and actually support your customers!
